Coral Cove is a substantial 8 bedroom beachfront villa, comprosed of 2 cottages sharing the same delightful waterfront site on the clear waters of Discovery Bay. The cottages sit on a lovely large lawn. Beyond the lawn and swimming pools is a private sugary white sand beach with two thatched roof umbrellas for shade. Interiors have been designed for put-your-feet-up comfort. The feeling is an at-home, informal, easy life style.

If one group rents both cottages, all may dine together. If two different groups are in residence, meals are served inside or on individual open-air patios at each cottage or on picnic tables at the beach. The cooks will plan torchlight beach parties with chicken, chops, steaks, lobster or fresh fish served sizzling from the two outdoor grills. Shared areas are the lawn, beach, volleyball/badminton area and seaside gazebo. Each cottage has its own pool, outdoor barbecue grill and seaside rinse-off shower.

Kayaks are complimentary. Other water toys include a swim-up deck and floating bar. More water sports are available just a few minutes drive from Coral Cove. In lively Ocho Rios 30 minutes from Coral Cove are night life, excellent restaurants, shops, open-air craft markets, super clubs where guests may purchase day passes, more water sports, Prospect Plantation Great House, rafting on the Martha Brae, jitney tours of a working plantation, and dramatic Dunn’s River Falls.

Discovery Bay is a town in the Saint Ann Parish on the northern coast of Jamaica. It came to be known as Discovery Bay as Christopher Columbus and his crew had discovered it in 1494.Discovery Bay is home to much history, orginially named Puerto Seco by Christopher Columbus because there aren't any permanent rivers flowing through it, unlike it's neighbouring towns.
It later came to be known as Discovery Bay as Christopher Columbus and his crew discovered it in 1494, (it is disputed as to whether they first landed in Discovery Bay or Sevilla La Nueva.) Due to this there are many historical attractions in Discovery Bay, including the Green Grotto Caves and Columbus Park. The Green Grotto Caves display relics of the native Taino Arawak lifestyle - you can also visit the secret caves through which many spaniards escaped when the english invaded in 1655, they were guided by the Arawaks and African slaves in exchange for their freedom.

Discovery Bay holds some of Jamaica's premier attractions, including Doplhin Cove, where the whole family can enjoy swimming with Dolphins in a beautiful coral reef, and Firefly, Noel Coward's home in the hills above Port Maria, located in one of the island's most spectacular settings, and arguably the best views in Jamaica.The attractions in Discovery Bay are endless, whether you would prefer a drive through fern gully to experience breathtaking tropical vegetation or a visit to Chukka Cove to take part in activities ranging from polo to trail rides.

For those who wish to experience a taste of Jamaican night life there are several restaurants and clubs at Island Village - the most recent shopping and entertainment complex in Ocho Rios, also with shops and a cinema. In Discovery Bay there is no shortage of mouthwatering foods to tuck into after a long day in the sun! From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.

From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with Thomson Airways or Thomas Cook.  Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.
