We are pleased to showcase this delightful 4 bedroom villa that is nestled high in an exclusive 20 acre estate within the Galleon Beach Club which is one of Antigua's most sought after locations for the discerning traveller. We believe that this truly is one of the very best villas in Antigua, and during your stay here you will be fully serviced, with air-conditioned rooms and stunning views from your own private infinity pool.

Galleon Beach Villa was completed in 2002 and carries the Colonial Antiguan style, comprising a two storey villa that is luxuriously furnished in traditional, yet modern Caribbean style. What sets it apart from other villas in Antigua, is the attention to detail both inside the villa and the mature gardens.

The bedrooms have one aim - to give visitors a lavish stay whilst in Antigua, and bedrooms on the second floor both boast their own balconies that overlook Freeman's Bay. Ground floor rooms open to the infinity pool and have access to the outside dining area that comfortably sits 10 people to make the most of al fresco dining. The owners have worked hard to establish the property as one of the superior villas in Antigua and the kitchen, lounge and internal dining rooms are well equipped, furnished and finished.

The gardens boast some of the most stunning tropical plants that are synonymous with the Caribbean and include Bougainvillea, Jacaranda, Paw-Paw, Hibiscus, Alamanda, Christmas Candle, and Oleander. The garden design offers significant privacy in the tropical paradise of Antigua with a large number of sun loungers, outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue.

Upper Floor
On the upper floor, the fully equipped kitchen, with Miele dishwasher, fridge/freezer/icemaker and water purifier leads into the spacious lounge/dining room, which features large glass wide opening patio doors on opposite sides to keep the whole room cool, assisted by paddle fans, enabling tropical outdoor/indoor living. The rear patio doors open onto the walled stonework terrace giving privacy and seclusion.

The master bedroom is on the same floor, with super king bed, large ensuite bathroom with full size bath/shower, double basins and outside tropical shower. A second bedroom with king size double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower is also on this floor. Both bedrooms have their own balconies overlooking gorgeous Freeman's Bay.

Lower Floor
The double Caribbean style over-arch staircase leads down to the pool area, off which are the two other bedrooms, one of which has a dividable super-king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. Bedroom four, which doubles as a cable TV/video room has twin beds that can be joined to make a double plus a child cot, and has adjacent bathroom and shower. Both downstairs bedrooms have French doors giving direct access to the pool area, which has dining furniture for up to 10 people, and a gas barbecue.

Grounds & Services
The mature garden includes tropical plants such as Bougainvillea, Jacaranda, Paw-Paw, Hibiscus, Alamanda, Christmas Candle, and Oleander.

Guests enjoy, (at no extra cost), maid service, and all the facilities of the Galleon Beach resort, including reception which has a small library, fax, internet and phone (available at extra cost), although most mobile phones will work in Antigua. There is also wifi access (bring your own laptop).

Additional facilities include two tennis courts, 24 hour security, backup generator, and of course one of the finest white sand and calm water beaches imaginable, all just two minutes stroll down the hill, and should it be required, there is on-site maintenance through reception.

The onsite Calabash restaurant lounge and bar is just a couple of minutes walk away. Reception can also arrange, at extra cost, diving, sailing, deep sea fishing etc.

At just 108 square miles, Antigua is the largest of the Leeward Islands, little sister Barbuda being 30 miles to the North, enjoying a delightful climate where the temperature rarely rises above 90°F (32°C), or falls below 75°F (25°C), all year round. Gentle trade winds, low humidity, and clear calm warm seas create conditions for the idyllic beach holiday.

Famous for its beaches and its cricket players, tiny Antigua is now one of the Caribbean's most popular destinations. The country has taken full advantage of the publicity gained from its independence in 1981 and the remarkable success of its cricketers since then to push its name into the big league of West Indian tourism alongside Barbados and Jamaica.

Whilst car hire is not essential, it is recommended, as there is much to see in Antigua, and, apart from Calabash, the wide range of restaurants in the area at Falmouth and English Harbour are 5-10 minutes drive away. Many guests use Titi car hire, who have a range of some 40 air-conditioned competitively priced vehicles of various sizes, and most importantly, will collect and deliver you from and back to the airport straight from Lime Hill, about 30 minutes away.

Galleon Beach enjoys a quite remarkable repeat booking record, guests returning year after year, some for over 25 years, which speaks volumes for this unspoiled tranquil and friendly place, a True Paradise. Although the villa is a comparatively new property, some of our guests are already returning for their second and third time.

What a delightful place. Wonderful situation and immaculately clean. The villa was a few minutes walk from the beach and a great little beach bar. The owner was very helpful - giving us the name of a super car hire gentleman (Titi) and organising for the maids to get some food in for the first couple of days. Loved watching the sun go down over the harbour - just heaven.

A beautiful architect designed villa with stunning elevated views over English Harbour. With two terraces, an infinity pool and only a short walk to the beach this villa provides the ideal holiday accommodation. Located close to all local amenities including a good variety of restaurants and bars. Shirley Heights with its famous Jump Up is near by... the ideal Caribbean holiday home and we look forward returning in the future.

A truly memorable caribbean location which caters for the enjoyment of all ages and adventures. A walk to enjoy the panoramic scene from Shirley Heights, a gentle swim across the bay, or even a paddle around the bay in a kayak. Soaking up the sun's ray on the beach and finishing the day with a Yellow Bird before a water taxi ride across the bay to English Harbour to soak up the naval history. What more could you want - magical paradise.

Set into a hillside in a small and exclusive residential community, this large, comfortable and superbly fitted villa is just a short stroll from the sandy beach with its small bar and restaurant. The views across the water from the balcony area are stunning by day and night. Nelsons English harbour is close by and easy to get to. A car is essential but the roads are very quiet. Plenty of places to eat out at reasonable prices. Other great beaches nearby. The weather was hot with only occasional heavy showers. The villa is serviced daily.

We had the best time ever. Such a relaxing experience in the most beautifull surroundings. We arrived, the Villa was immaculate and so welcoming the sun was shining, the pool was so inviting. A view to die for one would never tire of. Our 2 weeks there was a holiday to remember and one we hope to repeat.
